Unless otherwise noted, pottery ordered directly from our website is in stock and ready to ship. We try our very best to get all orders out the door within 1-3 business days.

Flat rate shipping in Canada is $15/order, and includes tracking and insurance. You’ll receive tracking information once your order has shipped. This rate assumes normal household quantities. Large orders for corporate or other non-personal usage will be assessed additional shipping charges on a case-by-case basis.

The last day to ensure that orders will arrive for Christmas within Canada is December 10th.

Do you ship to the US?

Yes! We offer flat rate shipping in the contiguous US (not Alaska and Hawaii) of CA$25/order. This rate assumes normal household quantities. Large orders for corporate or other non-personal usage will be assessed additional shipping charges on a case-by-case basis.

If you are in Alaska or Hawaii you can email us for a shipping estimate before purchasing. All prices on the website are in Canadian dollars.

Do you ship internationally?

We aren’t ready to yet to sell internationally. Please subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on social media to know when that is a go.

What if I don’t receive my order?

Muddy Handshake Pottery is not responsible for lost or stolen packages - we will provide you with a tracking number when your order is shipped. Please email info@muddyhandshake.com if you need assistance filing a claim. 

If a package is returned to us after multiple delivery attempts, incorrect address given at checkout, etc., we will contact you the day that we receive the return and figure out next steps. We are happy to reship packages, but we are unable to cover the cost of reshipment. 

I want to place an order online and pick it up in the studio or at a craft show. Can you waive the cost of shipping?

Yes - at check-out choose local pick-up and provide info on how best to contact you (text, email, or phone). We’ll arrange a pick-up time at the studio (or an alternate location like a craft show or farmers market, if that works better for you). 

What if I receive items that are broken during shipping?

We attempt to pack pottery well to eliminate breakage during shipping. However, because of the fragile nature of pottery, there could be breakage during shipping. If you receive broken items from shipping, please email images of the broken items to info@muddyhandshake.com. We can either offer a full refund of the broken items or reship similar items, without additional shipping charges.

Returns or exchanges in person only at studio.

Due to the fragile nature of pottery and the risk of breakage during shipping, we only accept returns or exchanges in person at our studio in Parry Sound, ON within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us by email info@muddyhandshake.com or by telephone 705-771-9539 to arrange a time to return or exchange. Please note that the product must be returned unused in original packaging.

In case of refund or exchange, the original shipping cost will not be repaid. 

No return or exchanges for custom orders.

All custom work is made to order and will not be returnable under any circumstances.
